ENLIGHTENMENT INTENSIVES
“For the first time, I came into contact with WHO I AM, and not some lofty idea that I had read or been told about. The sense of being and knowing was very much alive and to feel this was new, raw but also exciting.”
Martyn
The Enlightenment Intensive has one goal - direct contact with self, life or other and is centred on the classical dialectic, Socrates greatest gift to mankind. This partnered form of self inquiry is set within an intensely focused three day retreat (see the schedule of a typical day here), and creates the most fertile conditions for an epiphany to occur, sometimes known as enlightenment, illumination, an awakening, gnosis or union.
A baptismal event bringing fire and genuine transformation, changing the way that we participate in life. The divinity within that is uniquely yours to know and embody, revealed to us through grace.
It offers a way of religio, of binding back to the source of who & what we are without dogma or creed, there's nothing to believe in and no one will tell you who you are. Read more about dyads here
As a human being, this is perhaps the last great adventure on Earth and one that is completely ours. As with all adventures, it's a journey into the unknown and there are inner trials and barriers to face along the way, but what we may find is our greatest resource and of infinite value, something we can bring back to share with our friends, families, loved ones and community.
The retreat includes guided somatic practices to take away with you, aiding the integration back into one's daily life.
Post retreat there is a recommended 5 week in Somatic Resilience & Dyad Meditation Online Course to help with the integration of this life changing experience and to build an internal vessel, enabling us greater capacity to meet life. There are also further training options to help deepen our sense of embodied presence and relationship with who & what we are.
You are also invited to join an existing, mutually supportive online community who come together weekly, via Zoom to engage in dyad practices that further the conscious contact of what we've found on the retreat, as well as a time for sharing from the heart & deep listening. We have found that engaging in dyads and being around like-minded friends who are committed to the practice to be necessary and hugely beneficial.
‘The goal of the hero trip down to the jewel point, is to find those levels in the psyche that open, open, open and finally open to the mystery of your Self being, Buddha consciousness, or the Christ. That’s the journey.’ - Joseph Campbell
